There are a record 18 brand-new Rockettes this year – 17 out of whom came through Rockettes Conservatory – the invite-only, no-cost dancer development program, that was designed with the goal of building a more diverse and inclusive line. This year, the height range was expanded by an inch – changing from 5’6”-5’10½” to 5’5”-5’10½” – to create a more inclusive line by broadening the number of dancers eligible to become Rockettes.
